Luffshuttle car system for fully battened mainsails.
Designed and manufactured by Contender Italy / Essemarine, the Luffshuttle is an ingenious car solution for full batten mainsails. Each car comes complete with nine different carbon composite slides so that virtually all mast track sections, whether flat or round, are catered for. Two versions are available. The Luffshuttle comes with a M10 stainless steel threaded stud as standard for use with the majority of full batten receptacles. The Intermediate Shuttle comes with a simple aluminium bar for webbing to a sail as an intermediate slide.
The Luffshuttle is generally suitable for boats up to 38 feet in length. It is important to consult with your sailmaker to ensure suitability and compatibility.
