Solbond Polyester Thread
Solbond offers excellent sewability, outstanding abrasion resistance and high breaking strength as well as UV resistance. Solbond has been developed for yacht sails, sun protection and textile structures.
Solbond is produced by the German company Zwicky, member of the Gütermann group, who are recognised as the leading producer of industrial sewing thread. Contender recommends Solbond as a best in class product.

How Solbond metric sizes compare to 'V' style numbers
Solbond 10 is an alternative for all sails in V207.
Solbond 20 is an alternative for all sails in V92 and V138.
Solbond 30 is an alternative for all sails with V69.
Solbond 40 is perfect for spinnakers and One Design Sails in Polykote and Polypreg.
