The 19mm RBS batten lengths have been selected for maximum ease of use. The RBS Epoxy Compression Battens are a range of tapered battens with a firmer tip and their draft back at about 40-45%. Designed for use in full batten mainsails and an essential upgrade for full length mainsail and jib full length top battens where durability is paramount.

When fitted with an RBS standard outboard endcap the finished batten length will suit the majority of class rules without the need for cutting. The endcaps when used add 5mm / 0.2” to the overall batten length, with the standard length shown representing the standard batten fitted with the Inner end cap (which comes fitted as standard). It does not include the Outer (optional) end cap.
