Ultramar Canvas & Cotton Protector 5 L

The Ultramar Canvas & Cotton Tent Protector is specifically for use with canvas or cotton fabrics, popular in covers, awnings and tents.

It has a unique formulation specifically developed to impregnate your canvas or cotton cover to provide outstanding water repellency and protection against contamination from dirt, algae and mildew.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The cover must be both clean and dry.

The protector is easy and safe to use and is ready mixed. Apply the protector directly onto the cover with a soft brush, roller or sprayer and work into the surface, ensuring the fabric, seams, stitching, zippers and detailing are well impregnated. The fabric should be fully saturated and we also recommend checking the inside of the cover to make sure it too has been impregnated for maximum protection.

Leave the cover to dry.

The age and quality of the cotton canvas has a big impact on the quantity of protector required. For older and tired fabrics you will require a greater quantity of protector and you may even need to treat more than once.

The protector is water based but you should avoid application or splashing to windows, deck and other surfaces etc. Wipe away any splashes with a damp cloth and rinse with fresh water. Any residual splashes or streaks on windows can be easily cleaned away with shampoo or cleaning spirit.
