Ultramar Sail Cleaner 1 KG

Ultramar Sail Cleaner was developed by Ultramar in 1998 for use in their professional sail laundry.

Its unique formulation has continued to evolve to accommodate the very latest in sailcloth technologies available today. This professional sail cleaner is used for all woven polyester, Dacron, Dyneema and Vectran styles through to the very latest laminates It should not be used on nylon or non colour fast fabrics. If in doubt first test a small section of the fabric.

Ultramar Sail Cleaner is formulated to clean by soaking, gently lifting contaminants, whilst deep cleaning the sail.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Fill a tub, bath or container with lukewarm water at 30°C and add 20 grams (1 scoop) per 1 litre of water.

1 kg of sail cleaner should be added per 50 litres of fresh lukewarm water. Mix thoroughly.

Ideally flake, fold or roll up the sail and soak fully immersed for at least 24 hours.

Inspect the sail and remove any surface dirt and cleaning agent using a soft brush. Ideally use the Ultramar soft brush. If necessary let the sail soak for a further couple of days and repeat the treatment.

Then rinse with a soft brush and ample fresh water.

Once clean and dry protect the sail with Ultramar Sail & Spinnaker Coating.
