Terms of trading

Prices

All prices quoted are in £ Sterling and exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the rate applicable at the date of despatch. Prices are subject to alteration without notice.

Payment

Payment is strictly net on the 25th of the month following the date of invoice. Ownership of the goods does not pass until payment is made in full.

Overdue Accounts

If payment is not received by the 25th of the following month we reserve the right to charge 3% of the value of the order for every month or part thereof that the account is outstanding. Shipment of new orders may be withheld in the event of an account being overdue.

Method of delivery

We reserve the right to charge for carriage and packing for all orders delivered of less than £990 goods value excluding VAT, to mainland UK only.

Returns

Return of goods must be by prior arrangement. Any goods returned for credit must be delivered to our warehouse within 60 days of invoice date.

Liability

All materials sold by Contender have been specifically developed for the manufacture of sails and/or other marine associated applications. Contender cannot be held liable in cases where their products are used otherwise.

We will be pleased to offer short rolls of fabric when these are available from inventory, but reserve the right to apply a cutting charge, which will be advised at the time of order.

Product liability is restricted to the value of the single items delivered. All further liabilities are excluded.
